Luther House

Luther House is the home of Lutheran Campus Ministries of Kent, located at 120 Luther Avenue, right behind Faith Lutheran Church.  Luther House is a gathering place for Bible studies, fellowship events, prayer, conversation, and quiet study.  There is also a small kitchen and two television-viewing areas.  The upstairs level of the house contains the Luther House Resident apartment.  Luther House Residents are students who are responsible for the daily oversight and care of the facility.

Luther House is open for student use throughout the week.  The hours are:

Sundays 9:30AM - 10:30PM
Mon- Sat 10AM-10:30PM

Luther House Residents will be hired to serve as caretakers during the summer and school year.  Residents receive free rent in exchange for ministry responsibilities at Luther House.  For a job description and application, see JJ.  The applications are usually available starting in January.

Our vision for Luther House is that it will serve as a Christian outreach center for the Lutheran student community at Kent State.  Luther House will be a gathering place for Bible studies, fellowship events, prayer, conversation, and quiet study.

COME AND SEE the new décor of the lounge at Luther House. Thanks to some recent donations and work efforts the lounge has been redecorated. Stop by and see the new ministry opportunities. Also, if you would like to add to the ministry we could use four more chairs for the table. The chairs cost $100 each and donations can be made to Lutheran Campus Ministries of Kent and placed in the box on the table in the kitchen at Lutheran House. Your help is greatly appreciated.
